Great Guitar Player, Paul Burch

Me and Tommy went to see this guy Paul Burch at the Local 506. I have been into his music for about 5 years, since I heard his track "Isolda" on Old Enough to Know Better: 15 Years of Merge Records (which, luckily, he played at the show!) and then researched further with his amazing album, "Last of My Kind." Basically, this guy is a classic. He is a great guitar player with a love for simple, pure lyrics about love and loss. He is reminiscent of the breathtaking sounds of a country great like Hank Williams. I would say more, but I read this review of "Still Your Man," the album he's touring right now, and I think it praises Burch articulately and explains the core of his greatness. Right now, I cannot get enough of the poetic track, "The Ballad of Henry and Jimmy."
